Yin Yoga

Most Yogis know and love their warm, muscle-lengthening Yang Asana. Come and explore the cool Yin side, or deeper tissues of the body. We will stress the ligaments, tendons and  connective tissue by holding postures for 3-5 minutes on each side.  This allows for the opportunity to open up the body, as well as to experience stillness and really listen to what's going on in the body.  You may want to wear an extra layer, as the room is cooler than for our other classes. Offered on Mondays from 3:30 - 4:30. Cost: $12.00 or use your pass.

Chair Yoga

Not easy to get up and down on the mat? Struggle with stability? Uncooperative knees? Chair Yoga is a great alternative for those with limited mobility. Join us for Asana (poses) either in the chair or using the chair for stabilization. You’ll reap the same benefits as in any mat class, This class is held twice a week - Mondays from 1:30 - 2:30 and Wednesdays from 1:30 - 2:30. Cost: $12.00 or use your pass.

Everyday/Restorative Yoga

An everyday Asana (poses) practice of a fundamental level can provide a multitude of benefits – not just for the body, but for the mind and spirit. In the first half, you will learn simple breathing techniques,  meditation styles and some basic postures that will help you to get the most out of life. The second half-hour is devoted to "active rest,"  which restores the body, mind and spirit with completely supported postures held for 5 minutes each.  A very pleasant way to end a busy workday! Held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30 - 6:30pm. Cost: $12.00 or use your pass.

VinYin Yoga

Looking for a new way to bring some activity into your weekend? Join Amanda for this fusion of Vinyasa (a more energetic, flowing style of yoga) and Yin (focusing on the deeper release of connective tissue),  offering movements to help improve strength, balance, flexibility and joint mobility. Start your weekend on a new note! Saturdays from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. Cost: $12.00 or use your pass.

Celebrating The Curves

A class for better-than-average-sized people who have a desire to be Yogis. Regardless of body size, everyone can experience the union of the body, mind and spirit. The use of props, such as chairs, bolsters and straps can assist in getting into postures that may at first seem unsuited to larger bodies. Come and join us for this gentle journey to better health, more confidence and peace of mind.  Meets on Tuesdays from 3:30 – 4:30.
